Walk with me awhile.
I'm Taylor McGee—a writer, storyteller, and follower of Christ who believes some of life's most important discoveries happen when we're willing to slow down and pay attention.
I've always loved stories. Not just the ones bound between book covers, but the ones unfolding in ordinary moments: conversations that linger long after the coffee is gone, the kindness of strangers, adventures, and the ways God faithfully meets us in places we never expected to find Him.
My path here hasn't been a straight one. I've studied communication, earned a law degree, practiced law, traveled to places that stretched my perspective, and found myself returning again and again to the same realization: beneath all of our accomplishments, fears, and carefully constructed identities, we're all searching for the same things—to be known, to belong, and to discover who we really are.
That's what I write about.
Some days that looks like a devotional exploring Scripture and God's invitation to stop striving and rest in His grace. Other days it's an essay about an awkward travel mishap, an observation from an airport, or a story that reminds me we're more alike than we often realize. Sometimes it's simply noticing the extraordinary hiding in an otherwise ordinary Tuesday.
My hope is that my writing feels like walking alongside a friend—honest, thoughtful, occasionally humorous, and always pointing back to the God who has been carrying the greatest weight all along.
So whether you found your way here because of a devotional, a travel story, a book, or simple curiosity, I'm grateful you're here.
